Nikhil Balasubramanyam

Founder/President

Nikhil Balasubramanyam, BA, Trinity University, is the Founder and President of SOS. He was inspired to create a non-profit organization with the purpose of leading and supporting efforts around the enrichment of HIV-infected youth in India. He also serves as the Communications and Marketing Specialist of Patient Care Intervention Center (PCIC) in Houston, Texas, an organization dedicated to connecting vulnerable populations to much needed social and medical resources.

Ashok Balasubramanyam

Officer

Ashok Balasubramanyam, MD, is an endocrinologist on the faculty of Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX. He is involved in the clinical care of patients as well as research in the field of diabetes and medical education at all levels. He serves as Vice President for Academic Integration at Baylor.

Ajay Balasubramanyam

Ajay Balasubramanyam, MS, MPH, is a graduate of Emory University and Texas A&M University. He is currently a medical student at Kansas City University. He is also a musician, with a strong background in community service and research in health services and microbiology.

SCT is managed by the Camillians- an International Faith-based Organization which is exclusively involved in the healthcare field for the past 450 years.

Snehagram

Snehagram

Snehagram is the second phase of the Snehacare model of rehabilitation. It is a residential program for adolescent boys and girls living with HIV to focus on vocational training and achieving independence. Snehagram facilitates a preparatory platform for the students to learn how to face the challenges of life when they reach adulthood.

Teach for India

Teach for India

Teach for India (TFI) focuses on combatting the prevalent silos in education that have prevented the youth of India from receiving a quality education. TFI is providing mentoring, structural and research support to the I’mpossible initiative.
